Recessed wardrobes and Chinoiserie furniture complement this charming room, which is adorned with hand-made Persian carpets and Japanese woodblock prints. the clock on the mantelpiece was made in France in the 1930s.

The private bathroom is painted in a cool reflective grey and has a bath.
